Job Post of Office Clerk

Job Description:

BT Commercial Ltd, leaders in the air-conditioning, Heating and Ventilation and Photo Voltaic sector is recruiting an Office Clerk to assist in the After Sales office on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate should have the following skills and experience.

  • Good customer-care skills
  • Ability to understand the customer
  • Be able to assist clients with Basic issues
  • Good written and verbal communication skills  
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Performs clerical duties, including, but not limited to, mailing, filing correspondence, taking customer orders, and answering calls
  • Maintain Customer related database records
  • Self-driven, positive can-do attitude
  • Be an excellent communicator, proactive, motivated to succeed and work on your own initiative
  • Ability to prioritize work to key deadlines
  • Reliable

Although in house training will be provided to the selected candidate, the candidate is expected to have at least O level standard or better. Salary will be commensurate with the level of experience and knowledge.


 

Job Post For Assistant Systems Administrator.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in monitoring of our computer systems and servers.
  • Assist in user administration support.
  • Installing software & Operating Systems.
  • Assist in day to day operations such as backups.
  • Assist users in all IT related issues.
  • User training on various software.
  • CRM assistance to users.
  • Monitor software licences and maintain documentation of such licences.
  • Maintain I.T. documentation procedures.
  • Assist in ISO audits, reporting & updating of procedures as required.
  • Assist in monitoring system performance and report to Systems Administrator any issues.

Requirements

  • Proven working experience will be considered as an asset.
  • Ideally in the process of obtaining an IT Qualification.
  • Knowledge in Office automation tools such as Microsoft Office in general.
  • Basic knowledge of networking & network tools.  
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Basic Education Level is required.

 

Job Post For Assistant Technical Persons

Job Description:

Main duties:

Mainly assist in the installation of refrigeration and air-condition equipment. The necessary skills that one must have is knowledge in the use of tools like drilling, grinding, general hand tools etc.

Requirements:

The knowledge of tools and be technically minded is a must. The person will have to have a good attitude towards work and his colleagues. The knowledge of English is preferred as communication is important. Training will be provided.

Job Post For Installers of Air-conditioners and Refrigeration Equipment.

Job Description:

Main duties:

Install, maintain and repair air-conditioning / refrigeration equipment. Although training will be provided, knowledge of the industry is required.

Requirements:

Reading and Understanding a Drawings

Understanding of Schematic of Copper Sizing & Refnets

Choosing the right area of installation -  care must be taken not to install in wrong areas

Planning of Tools & Materials

Installation of Indoor Unit

Installation of Condensate Drain

Correct Copper Laying & Bending

Copper flaring and insulation

Copper Brazing              

PPR welding

Communication of IDU , ODU & Controllers and electrical connections

Addressing of Indoors & Controllers

Hole Penetrations

Mounting of Bracket structures for ODUs

ODU Setting Up, etc…

Pressure Testing procedure and Vacuuming

Additional Refrigerant Charging

Product Knowledge and training, including manufacturing literature and guidelines

Aftersales

Maintenance

Note:

Job Post For HVAC Technician

Job Description:

Main duties:

  • Diagnose & Repairs of all HVAC and / or Air-conditioning equipment that fall under the responsibility of the aftersales department.
  • Diagnose faults through use of lean methodology by making use of instruction manuals, circuit diagrams etc...
  • Perform planned maintenance on any type of HVAC equipment in line with established quality and efficiency standards;
  • Understands basic Air-conditioning cycle to include: identifying components in Air-conditioning circuit, understanding how each component works, diagnosing problems in the Air-conditioning circuit, using manifold gauge set, pressure/temperature chart and temperature measuring devices for routine maintenance and to troubleshoot. Understands Air-conditioning recovery, evacuation and charging.
  • Responsible for the daily preparation of the parts and tools for each day’s activities.
  • Complete work in a timely and workman like manner.
  • Responsible for time management of jobs scheduled each day.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in HVAC, or equivalent;
  • Wireman license A & B would be considered an asset;
  • Responsible attitude and sense of teamwork
  • Fluent preferable in English and Maltese, both written and verbal
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to drive to local job sites on a daily basis
  • Good hygiene and cleanliness is required at all times
  • Maintain a clean vehicle and make office aware of maintenance issues
  • Follow rules and regulations as described in the company Handbook

Note:

  • The chosen candidate will be given the necessary training.
  • Experience, & other Certificates related with HVAC works will be considered an asset.  
  • The selected candidate will also be responsible for completing work orders as required and any additional duties as requested.
