Popular questions

How often should I book a service?

For optimal performance, we recommend that air conditioners are fully serviced in low seasons once every two years by a qualified technician.

Contact us and set an appointment.

Where can an AC be installed?

GREE Residential AC units can be installed in a suitable position for correct function and maintenance. Both indoor and outdoor units should be placed within reach for easy access.

For detailed installation guidelines, please refer to the manual available on our website.

To ensure that you are covered by a full warranty, we recommend installing the unit by a BT-approved installer.

Why and how often should I clean the filters?

Regular filter cleaning is essential for maintaining the efficiency and indoor air quality of your GREE residential air conditioning. We recommend cleaning the filters every 3–4 weeks to ensure proper airflow and to keep your air conditioning free from dust, allergens, and germs. Depending on the type of filter you have, you may need filter replacements. Frequent filter cleaning can help prevent common issues and reduce the risk of serious breakdowns.

Is there anything I should check before I call after-sales for a repair?

Before calling our after-sales team, we recommend that:

  • Filters are clean
  • Mode is set to desired mode (heating, cooling, dry)
  • If you have an error just on your remote control, it means you need to replace the batteries
  • Take note of any error codes that are displayed on the indoor unit and any strange noises before reporting them to our after-sales department.
  • Take note of the model number of your AC because the after-sales team will ask you for it.

How do I report a fault?
